Chicken semiya biryani
Vermicelli chicken biryani is a delicious Indian food recipe with chicken, biryani masala, and vermicelli.
You can make this recipe, when you are bored of regular vermicelli/semiya upma for lunch and dinner.
This chicken semiya biryani is a easy to cook one-pot recipe. You can skip the chicken part and use your favorite veggie or any other base ingredient according to your taste and availability of ingredients.
In this Vermicelli chicken biryani recipe, I have roasted the vermicelli before adding it to the masala. But you can add already roasted vermicelli that is available in the market. This way you save a lot more time.
Note: If you are roasting the semiya/vermicelli, make sure not to burn it as it will alter the taste of the dish.
