Quick chocolate pudding recipe
Chocolate pudding is a type of pudding with chocolate flavor. It is a popular and easy to make dessert usually made in a stovetop.
In this recipe, I have used milk, sugar, chocolate, and vanilla. Along with a thickening ingredient corn flour. You can use eggs as an alternative to cornflour. Mix all the ingredients without any lumps and make a thick paste and to get that velvety texture, add some fresh cream and choco chips to the mixture.
Also, in this recipe, I have cooked the pudding in stovetop but you can also stream and bake it in the oven(these are alternate methods)
Serve it with whipped cream for more guilty flavor!!
How to make homemade chocolate pudding
Step 1:
In a pan add 250 ml milk and add 2 tbsp cacao powder and cornflour. Whisk it till cocao and cornflour dissolves in milk without any lumps
Step 2:
Now switch on the flame and place the pan. Heat the mixture and keep stirring. Add rest of the milk and keep mixing.
Now add fresh cream and whisk it continuously. It will form a creamy texture. Next, add sugar and mix till it melts
Step 3:
Next, add choco chips and mix till the chocolate melts. Keep stirring in medium flame for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Finally, add some vanilla essence and mix until the mixture becomes thick and glossy.
Step 4:
Now, cool the pudding and transfer it to small cups/bowls. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator and for 3 to 4 hours.
After 4 hours remove the bowl from the refrigerator and remove the cover.
Chocolate pudding is ready!
