How to make restaurant style hash browns


Step 1:

Wash and peel 2 large potatoes.

Rinse shredded potatoes until water is clear

Now, drain and Place shreds in a pan

Next, add 2 cups of water along with 1/4 tsp of salt and boil in high flame until the water becomes cloudy. (do not overcook)


Step 2:

Now drain boiled potatoes and place them in a bowl. Next, add cold water to stop the cooking

Next, remove excess water using a piece of cloth.

Step 3:


Now add 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp rice flour, and 2 tbsp cornflour to it and mix well.

Step 4:


Once coated, again add 2 tbsp rice flour and 2 tbsp cornflour to the mixture.


Step 5:

Next, add 1/8 cup of water and bind the mixture evenly


Step 6:

Now take small quantities and make flat and even-sized hash browns.

Freeze it overnight


Step 7:

deep fry in high flame until it turns golden brown

Once done, remove it from the pan and server hot with sauce
