Veg momos with wheat flour

How to make veg momos with wheat flour:
Step 1:
- Knead 2 cups of wheat flour using some water and make a dough.
- Make the dough smooth and supple.
- Next, cover it with a damp cloth for 20 minutes or until filling is prepared.


Step 2:
After sometime divide the dough into large portions.


Step 3:
Roll dough ball into a thin circle.


Step 4:
- Then using a round mold make small circles.
- do the same for the rest of the dough and place the dough sheets it in a plate and cover it with a cloth






Step 5:
- Boil 3 medium-sized potatoes until tender.
- Then peel and mash potatoes roughly.



Step 6:
- Next, add chopped 1 Small Onion, 1 Small Green chilli. Along with it add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp Black pepper, 1/2 tsp Red chilli, 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes to the roughly mashed potatoes.
- Mix them all well to make momos filling



Step 7:
- Take one prepared wheat dough sheet and place a small ball of filling in the middle of the sheet
- Next, lift one side of the edge and start pleating or take one side of the sheet and join the edges using a fork.
- Prepare all momos this way and keep them covered under a moist napkin until you are ready to steam them.





Step 8:
- Next, grease a steamer pan with some oil.
- Arrange them in the pan, keeping space between them.
- Steam using 2 cups of water in a steamer pan or idli pan
- Cover and steam for 5 to 6 minutes till the outer dough becomes transparent.


Step 9:
Serve wheat veg momos hot with momos chutney or red chilli-garlic chutney, spicy schezwan sauce or tomato sauce.
