Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Oil or ghee
  • 1 Cup Basmati rice
  • 2 Cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Carrot
  • 1/4 Cup Beans
  • 1/4 Cup Green peas
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 - 4 Green chili
  • 3/4 tsp Salt

Spices for the recipe:

  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 2 Cloves

Instructions

  • Rinse basmati rice until the water is clear.
  • Soak rice in water for 20 minutes, then drain.
  • Heat pressure cooker with oil or ghee, add spices, and cook until fragrant.
  • Sauté onions until soft, then add green chilies and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Add vegetables and sauté briefly.
  • Season with salt, add boiled peas, and mix well.
  • Pour in water and bring to a boil.
  • Add soaked rice and simmer until cooked through.
  • Fluff rice and serve hot. Enjoy your Vegetable Pulao!
