Main Ingredients
- 1 Cup cooked rice(200 grams)
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- Chopped Cilantro
- 1 Small Green chili
- Salt to taste
Tempering
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Urad dal
- 1/4 tsp Chana dal
- 1 Dried Red chilies
- Curry leaves
Cooking Rice
Pressure cook the rice till 3 whistles. Wait for the pressure to release completely and make sure the rice is cooked completely.
Once the rice has cooled completely, add the curd(1/4 cup) and milk(1/4 cup) and mix it together.
Add chopped green chili and mix to combine.
For the tempering
Heat oil in a small pan on medium heat
Add the mustard seeds and let them pop.
Then add the urad dal, chana dal, red chili, and cook till it gets golden brown
Add curry leaves and saute for few seconds
Curd rice
Transfer the tempering to the bowl of curd rice and mix.
Now sprinkle some salt and rest of the curd and mix well
Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve!
