Easy prawn rice recipe

Prawn fried rice is an easy to cook Chinese dish similar to other fried rice recipes like vegetable, eagg, and chicken. The procedure is very simple and can be cooked in very little time.
You can use already cooked rice or freshly cooked rice. Make sure not to overcook the rice. In this recipe, I have shallow fried prawns without any seasoning but you can add masalas like pepper or red chili powder along with salt and marinate it for 10 to 15 minutes before pan-frying it. Prawn fried rice is almost done. Add sauces and spices along with some vegetables(you can skip the vegetable part if you don’t want to add vegetables) and saute the cooked rice to it. Tasty and simple prawn fried rice is ready.
Have it with tomato sauce or green chili sauce.

How to Make Prawn fried rice with step by step instructions
Step 1: Cooking the prawns
To start with the recipe, cook the prawns separately. In a frying pan, add oil and coat with evenly. Next, place all the prawns and cook them on both sides. Cook till the prawns turn pinkish-red and curl-up. Once done remove the prawns from the pan and place it on a separate plate. Prawns are ready.



Step 2: Making the fried rice mixture:
Next step is to cook the mixture for the prawn fried rice. To begin with, take a sauce pan or a kadai and add some oil. Once the oil heats up add the chopped garlic and green chilli and saute them in oil.
Now add all the vegetables and mix them well. Make sure the vegetables are crispy and well coated. Next, add the things which add flavor to the dish. LIke, soy, vinegar, black pepper powder and salt.
Mix them all together and saute for a few seconds.









Step 3: Adding the main Ingredient
Finally, add the cooked prawns and rice to the mixture and mix them well. After mixing them, saute it well for a few seconds. The rice and the prawns have to be well coated.




After a few seconds of sauting, prawn fried rice is ready. Garnish it with spring onions or coriander leaves.

Equipment
- Frying pan
- Kadai/sauce pan
Ingredients
- 10 Prawns
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Carrot
- 2 tbsp Beans
- 1 small Green chilli
- 2 tbsp capsicum
- 1/2 tbsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp garlic chopped
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinigar
- 1 1/2 cup Basmati rice cooked
- salt
Instructions
Cooking prawn
- Take a frying pan and coat it with oil and fry the prawns till it turns pink on both sides. cook till the prawns curls up.
Fried rice
- In a pan add oil and saute garlic and green chilli.
- Next add all the vegetables and saute them for few minutes
- Next, add soy sauce and vinegar
- Now add prawns and rice. Saute them till it is properly mixed and the rice is coated with the mixture.
- After few seconds of sauteing, prawn fried rice is ready
